15 DAYS TO THAILAND

OMG..I can't believe it..ONLY 15 days to departure date..We are going to Thailand for 2 weeks and we can barely wait...My MIL is turning 60 and invited all of us to the Beautiful Pucket in Thailand for a luxury vacation...Of course we couldn't say no...HOW COULD WE???LOL!!!

I am taking my camera, of course, to document every beautiful place we visit and post it here, so you all can see it...I am also taking my laptop, I simply cannot stay away...LOL!! 2 weeks without a computer, I DON'T THINK SO!!!! LOL!!

Here is one of the 5 pools that the girls cannot wait to jump in...Everyday they ask, Are we leaving today?...No girls in 15 days, of course what do they know..LOL!!!

Now you call imagine the excitement...Well, basically I have never been to Thailand, which is quite an adventure in itself, but the shopping in Thailand, I have heard, even from DH, that has been there once before, is TDF...So we are taking empty suitcases to bring them back FULL...Of course with UNIQUE Fabrics too...What do you all expect...LOL!!!

AUPAIRS - SOLUTION OR JUST PLAIN HEADACHE

As some of you may know we have been looking for a nanny/aupair for our twin girls...Well a couple of  months ago we thought we hit the jackpot...There was an Mexican aupair here working for a Danish/American family and she had a sister that was interested in working for us..OMG How Exciting could that be...It took me a while to get Jan really excited about the idea, although he was the one who told me to find one..Go Figure!!

EVERYTHING was set, we paid for her plane ticket for her to come, were getting ready with her accommodations and BOOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Tuesday she sends me an email saying she is sorry but she cannot come, that she realizes she  had made a spurt of  the moment decision and that it was best for her to stay where she was right now...I am reading that email, and couldn't understand a word of it, I was confused, scared, sadden by its content and MOST OF ALL VERY DISAPPOINTED...My ONLY thought at that point was HOW CAN I TELL JAN NOW? What would be his reaction? I told you so?, although he is not like that, but you obviously start thinking the worst...

To make this long story short, she called me on Wednesday and explained everything...she said she needed to be honest..That she has no US Visas and has been denied one in 4 different occasions and that her sister told her that it was not a problem because she could get from here, because she was working for a US Citizen...If  that is a true statement or not I simply don't care, but the fact is that we are traveling to USA on November and she was supposed to come with me and the girls..Can you imagine what would have happened?...All this time I was only expecting to get her visa renewed at the US Embassy... Anyway, At least she was honest..A little late but better late than never.

I bet you are all asking yourselves about the plane ticket...Well,when she called me she said that she had spoken with the company that we bought the plane ticket from and that they will refund the plane ticket but they will charge a $300 fee for the cancellation, but that she will cover those $300. Yes, I already talked to the company and the refund is in process...

Now we have decided that if we want to go through this whole thing again we will DEFINITELY use an established Aupair/Nanny Agency.

I wonder how could I have been so naive...I guess I should have known better..When it Sounds TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE it probably isn't that good...

I HAVE BEEN TAGGED!!!

WoooooooooHoooooooo this is the first time I have been tagged and by no other than my friend Linda... Girl, you gave me a hard one..LOL!! I have been thinking and thinking all day long and I just could come up with 4 so I had to enlist the help of my Hubby, Jan, and he reminded me of some...So I am pretty sure I have it all covered..Here it goes...

SWEAT!! BODILY FLUIDS!!! - I HATE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! When I go to gym it REALLY bothers me that people either don't use their towels to sit on the machines and DON'T CLEAN them after they use them...IS DISGUSTING!!!

SHOES..I LOVE THEM!!!!!...I will buy and buy and still don't have a pair that matches...Like my Husband says, You have a closet FULL of I don't have anything to wear...LOL!! Men!!!

HATE DIETS!! Been through every single one and still haven't lost a pound...TOTALLY Depressing!!

BREAD!!!!!!!!!! I could live on it...No doubt about that...LOL!! and here in Denmark is Worst!! Here you find FRESH Bread everyday..For example..Gulerød Brød, SigteBrød, Havrebrød, Hjembagt brød, etc..please don't ask me to translate, but I CAN PROMISE you they are DELICIOUS!!!

I LOVE GOSSIP MAGAZINES, Just like you Linda, a VERY SHAMEFUL Entertainment!!

BODY SCRUBS!! I'll buy EVERY single one...TOTALLY ADDICTED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

and FINALLY....

I HATE TO FLY...HOW CONTRADICTORY as I LOVE to TRAVEL...I am extremely frightened of flying, but I cannot show it because of my kids, but I can promise you all that I am praying from the moment I get inside the plane until I touch ground at our destination...I have no idea when it started but I dread the thought of getting on a plane...

MY TROLLS

I just thought I should share some pictures of my TROLLS...

By now some of you know them but others don't so here is a sneak peek of all 3... Ricardo Emilio who is 12 but thinks he is 16 LOL!!  and Bella & Anna who are 3 years old and enjoying every minute of  it...LOL!! Yes, they are twins, fraternal, but twins after all...

This picture was taken in Northern Ireland last year when we were at the Giants Causeway.  That day was a lot of fun and A LOT of walking...I can't wait to go back...

Last year all 3 of them where part of the Bridal Court of our Best Friends and their God Parents, Henrik & Karoline...I was really stressed that day and the days before because the little ones can be quite unpredictable and we had already experienced quite a chaos during their Christening, but that is another story...The fact was that I was very worried about their behavior in church because Bella can get quite wild if she finds herself restricted to an small area with nothing interesting to do...BTW, all this is happening in my mind because the weddings here are quite a serious affair and especially this one. To make this story short they were both ANGELS..They behaved beautifully, so beautiful that people were asking us if we rented them out for weddings LOL!!  Ooops!!! I forgot to let you all know the wedding was held at Holckenhavn Slot (Castle), (if you want to see it click on the link and once in the page click on video).

Most recently we were at my In-laws and got this unique shot of my son, while he sat there waiting for a text message or his cell phone to ring to put him out of his missery...I REALLY don't get it...He has sent over 10,000 text messages since he's gotten his cell phone, 9 month ago...I still ask myself, well we ask ourselves, What in the world could it be soo important that they cannot wait until they all see each other in school the next day or at practice....

By his face expression you you how excited he is for being at his grandparents..LOL!! Who can please them...I wonder sometimes; Were we the same way when we were that age? We certainly did not have cell phones and/or computers..Anyway, that is material for another post..LOL!! 

Saturday we were out taking pictures and we got these ones of the girls...Of Course, these are not the only ones...LOL!! But I wanted to share at least 2 with all of you...Aren't They the CUTEST THING!!! They were having sooo much fun...We were at the Korselitze gardens...It is a BEAUTIFUL place, and the weather was Great!!!

I am pretty sure by now you are all bored, so I will let you all go until my next post..

I MADE IT...FINALLY

About time I joined my friends into this blogging madness.

I have had many concerns about starting a blog and some of them were, not enough time to post, but REALLY who has the time anyway, so there went that excuse...Another one was, well English right now is my 3rd language and if I made mistakes before wait until you see me writing now, well there is an spell check option here, so there went that excuse too...I just hope that you all will bared with me if you see some atrocities concerning English grammar. I try very hard not to make mistakes but my head, most of the time doesn't follow my commands, KWIM?? Another excuse was, will I have enough ideas to write to keep this blog thing going, well I guess that one was the LAMEST of them all. What wife/mother/designer/daughter/sister/niece/cousin, etc..., you can keep mentioning your different positions in your family tree and I am sure you WILL HAVE SOMETHING TO SAY...
